My whippet story started in 1981 when I bought Clansmans Latest-Flame…….Fanny called at home. She was a very wellbuilt bitch of excellent size! She was sparely shown but won 1 CC and BOS plus several CQ and best bitch placements. She was an excellent mother and gave birth to 3 lovely litters. Below I tell some about them.
On the 3 of may in 1983 my first whippet litter came into this world! It was a litter with two boys and two girls. (Ch Caramount Flash-Dance, Caramount Lonely-Hunter, Caramount Billie-Jean, 1 CC BOB BIG-2) and Caramount Runaround-Sue). Their father was Ch Freeline Fetchman( Reggamis Opal/Ch Freeline Felicity)
From this first litter Caramount Flash-Dance became Champion. He also won BOS on the Swedish whippetclub show at Skokloster 1985. That was fantastic!!! Flash as he was called at home sired three litters. One of his offspring Ch Hofsdsjö´s Exceptionell Effect sired one litter at kennel Macawe. And in that litter Macawe Mezzo-Soprano(CQ)was born. Ellen as she´s called is the mother to my Macawe Miss Demenour.(Dimmie) So for me it was a joy to get my old bloodlines back when Dimmie came into my life in 2001!
From my first litter also Caramount Billie-Jean got puppies. She got 3 litters and from her first(sired by Ch Hårskas Ideal), two red ladies was born. One of them Caramount Lady Jean became Champion. Billie-Jeans second litter was sired by the handsome old englishman Shalfleet Sweet William. One male won CC, and another CQ. One of the males won BIS as a puppy. One of the girls got WR licence and did compete. Billie-Jeans last litter was sired by the englishman Faracre Ghostbuster. From that litter Caramount Lord Night Hunter won 2 CC and sired 2 litters at knl Lad´s. Caramount Lord Eagle Hunter got CQ. And the girl Caramount Lady hunter won BIS puppy at SW Skokloster 1988.
1984 I mated Fanny with Ch Freeline Forgeman. In this litter it was 5 puppies. 3 boys( Ch Caramount Starfighter,Caramount Starmaker(CQ), Caramount Stormbringer(HP in puppy class),Caramount Sparkling Stormwind and Caramount Storming Siora(CQ).
Ch Caramount Starfighter sired one litter at kennel Per-Mo´bile.
Caramount Storming-Siora sired one litter here at Caramount. Sire to that litter was Ch Busy Cat. 5 puppies came . And one bitch became Champion(Caramount Pretty In Pink)and sired 1 litter at kennel Lad´s.
As sire to Fannys last litter(1985) I choosed the handsome brindle&white boy , Ch Busy Cat. The result was two boys. Caramount Tarzan Boy(CC winner and WR licence) and Caramount Woody Boogie( he became Champion).
