About
My name is Lena and I live in a small village near a town called Östersund in a county named Jämtland, in Sweden. Animals have always been my big passion and I have worked with pigs, cows and horses. When I was a kid I always wanted a dog…..And when I was 12 years old I bought my first one, the price was SEK 60.

I was 10 years old when I first got in contact with the Irish Wolfhound. Two lovely grey giants lived right in my area. These two kind souls impressed me a lot. So in 1979, when I decided to buy a pedigree dog of my own, the choice was very simple. It became a little female, by the name Mountebanks Lydia.
In 1980, Swed Fin Ch Clansmans Coco-Chanel arrived into my life. I can’t explain the feeling I had, when I brought her home as a ten-week-old puppy!

My first Greyhound arrived into my life in June 1992. She was a lovley dark brindle beauty named Range Rover’s Attention. She went on to become a Swedish and Norwegian Champion. Sadly she never got any puppies and she died not even 7 years old.
The Greyhound in my life today, Swed Ch Noblegrey Happy Caramount Jewel, came into our house in 1997. She was a very wild puppy full of energy and joy! That’s how she got her nickname “Ärtan”, the Swedish word for pea; she was bouncing around like a little pea.

In 1981 I bought my first Whippet. I have even bred some litters. And some of that blod is behind some of the breeders of today. It’s very pleasant for me! And today I have a little Whippet beauty from kennel Macawe. Her name is Macawe Miss Demenour, called Dimmie. The whippet family today also includes Dimmies two daughters, Bettan and Molly. The latest lady in our family is Bettans daughter Emma.
